This Polished Stainless Steel heat shield deflects turbo heat away from the air cleaner, lowering intake air temp. Also protects wiring and other sensitive areas. It will not retain heat in turbo. Made of polished stainless steel to enhance engine looks. Cover that rusty turbine housing and protect everything else under the hood too. This shield covers the turbine housing only to avoid interference with the many different downpipe configurations out there.
