Do not remove plastic protective film from outside of shield until finished. This will protect against scratching the finish while installing.

1.    Remove air filter and box. You may avoid this step by using an angle drill.

2.    Place SS Shield on turbo. You may need to spread it a little to fit on compressor housing flange (front housing on turbo).

3.    Center the turbo oil feed line in opening on shield.

4.    Use holes in shield as guide to drill holes in compressor housing flange. Try to drill the holes approximately 3/8" from the rear edge of the compressor housing flange. Drill slowly to avoid breaking drill as you may break through flange and the drill may hit the steel snap-ring retainer. Use a #29 or a 9/64" drill.

5.    You can use either the #8 self tapping screws or use an 8-32 tap to tap the hole for the 8/32 screws. Use caution not to break tap by tapping too deep and hitting steel snap-ring retainer. See picture above.

6.    Install included screws, do not tighten yet Remove plastic protective coating and then tighten screws. Caution: Do not over tighten as the aluminum is soft and will strip easily.

7.    Reinstall air cleaner and parts.

8.    Your done now go show it off!

If you have any problems I'd like to hear about it. Please e-mail me at larrybuckinc(at)gmail.com with your comments. Thanks, Larry
